BABY ELYSE

Newborn baby Elyse’s parents decided to celebrate her birth with a newborn baby session. Well, sort of newborn (she was born in March). The studio lights and the click of the camera didn’t phase her because she fell fast asleep in her dad’s arms and we were able to get some newborn portraits they’ll cherish for a lifetime!

Little Ellie is 4 months old!

So far, we've captured Ellie's life at 4 days old, 6 weeks, and now 4 months old. We managed to get a few awake pictures with mom before naptime. Luckily, she fell asleep by a window so we were able to utilize natural window light. Thanks for letting us photograph her, Randi and Jeremy!

Otto

If you've been following our blog then you probably saw Tracy's maternity photos we did last year (click here for link). And now we had the pleasure of photographing little Otto, who is just over 6 months old. Otto even braved the cold winds outside for a few frames with his parents :)
Here's a few from the session:

Katie is having twins!

Katie and Travis have picked out the cutest names for their new twins: Cole and Presley (boy & girl). They wanted some winter family photos with their two dogs, Lily & Lucy, then we went to the studio to focus on Katie and her soon to be born children. She chose our black leather image box to keep these portraits in.

Thank you Katie! We can't wait to see Cole and Presley!!

Randi

Commentary by: Melissa
It's not everyday that we get to professionally photograph our relatives, so we were excited to take my sister's maternity photos. Randi is due with a baby girl, Elliana, who will be born sometime in late November. Elianna is our family's first grandchild on both sides, so everyone has already placed prints, coffee table books, image boxes, and birth announcement orders. These shots were composed in our studio and Downtown Ellensburg. And we kept our maternity tradition of processing most of them in black and white.

Tracy

We shot Tracy’s maternity photos when this past week. She’s about 8 months pregnant and is expecting little Otto in mid-August. We did the entire session in-studio. Our goal was to take black and white portraits for an Image Box, which is a large leather box that looks like an album, but opens up to display portraits in black mats. Tracy was a trooper and tried out all of our ideas. The Image Box turned out great. Congrats on your soon-to-be baby boy, Tracy and Jeremy!
